Instructions to Authors

New Records, Full length Papers, Review Studies, Mini Reviews, Short Communications, Case Studies and Survey Papers will be submitted to our Journal for publication. The authors may be asked to declare that the manuscript has not been submitted to any other journals for consideration at the same time or any other time. Soft copy in the form of MS word complete in all respect should be submitted as an e-mail attachment file for quick processing of the paper (editor.ijciar@gmail.com). The author (s) will be responsible for the authenticity of the contents of the paper submitted by him/them.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

The submitting manuscript should be typed in Times New Roam Font 12 with 1.5 line spacing and wide margins on four sides of A4 paper and must be written in English. First page of the paper should be headed with title page (in Capitalize Each Word, Font Size-Times New Roman, 18), the names of the author (Font Size-Times New Roman, 16), complete address of Academic Institution/Research Stations/Laboratories, where work was conducted and active e-mail Ids of corresponding author along with contact number should be provided.

Length of Paper

The authors are requested to check their length of the manuscript in between 10-25 pages. If the content is of high value, the editorial office of IJCIAR will accept any manuscript which is either shorter or longer than the prescribed page limit.

The Manuscript should be arranged as below mentioned order to make the review process smoothly.

Manuscript Title

The title should be limited to 50 words or less and should not contain abbreviations. The title should be a brief phrase describing the contents of the paper.

Author Information

Complete names and affiliation of all authors, including contact details of corresponding author (Telephone, Fax and E-mail address). Corresponding author–Clearly indicates who with (*) in front of the author’s name and only the e-mail address of the corresponding author is allowed.

Abstract

Abstract should not be more than 250 words and describe the role of the research work. No references should be cited in the abstract.

Keywords

Provide four to seven keywords, separated by commas, indicating the principal topics of the paper.

Introduction

Introduction should be brief, indicates the state of the art of the topic, background information and significance of the study by considering the relevant literature.

Material and Methods

Materials and methods should be written clearly and in such a detail that the work can be repeated by others. The research design, subjects, materials used, analytical methods, experimental methods, statistical methods and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated. This part should be as clear as possible to enable other scientists to repeat the research presented. In animal/ human experimentation, ethical guidelines shall be followed.

Results

Results and their significance should be presented clearly and concisely, preferably in the form of graphs and tables which should be self-explanatory.

Discussion

It should contain a critical review of the results in the light of relevant literature. Results and Discussion can be separated or combined.

Conclusions

Major findings of the study, their importance and relevance shall be summarized and with suggested recommendations

Acknowledgement

This section includes acknowledgment of people, grant details, funds, etc.

References

Reference style in text:  All citations in the text should refer to:

  • For single Author: Author name (without initials, unless there is ambiguity) and the year of publication (Liu, 2009).
  • For two Authors: Both author (s) names and the year of publication (Chang and Wang, 2011).
  • For three or more Authors: first author name followed by ‘et al.,’ and the year of publication (Sangeetha et al., 2012). Citations may be made directly (or parenthetically).
  • Groups of references should be listed chronologically according to the year of publication (For Example: There are several published works about the health benefits of herbs including antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties (Ozcan and Ahgul, 1995; Erkmen and Ozcan, 2001; Srinivasan, 2004; Tapsell et al., 2006; Ozcan et al., 2007; Ozcan, 2009).
  • More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’, etc., placed after the year of publication (Meghana Reddy, 2007a; 2007b, 2007c, 2007d).

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). References should be arranged in A-Z format (alphabetically) at the end of conclusion section.

Tables

Tables should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, 4, …), with each table presented on a separate sheet. Title of the table should be written on top of the table. Descriptions about table items should be placed at the bottom of the table and marked with an asterisk. Tables should be prepared in regular MS Word format (i.e., tables submitted as a figure or manually written will not be accepted)

Figures

Figures should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, …), with each Figure presented on a separate sheet. Title of the figure and descriptions about figure items should be placed at the bottom of the figure.

Chemical Terminology

The chemical nomenclature used must be in accordance with that used in the Chemical Abstracts

Biological Nomenclature

(Examples: Azaditachta indiaca, Litopenaeus vannamei, Catla catla, Crossostrea medrasensis, Escherichia coli ).

Enzyme Nomenclature

The trivial names recommended by the IUPAC-IUB Commission should be used. When the enzyme is the main subject of a paper, its code number and systematic name should be stated in its first citation in the paper.

Ethical Matters

Authors involving in the usage of experimental animals and human subjects in their research work should seek approval from the appropriate Institutional Animal Ethics Committee in accordance with “Principles of Laboratory Animal Care”. The material and methods section of the manuscript should include a statement to prove that the investigation was approved and that informed consent was obtained.

Abbreviations and Units

Generally, units must be abbreviated according to the International System of Units (SI units). Below you find examples of abbreviations of the most commonly used SI units:

  • Units:  The following units should be used: length (m, cm, m, mm, nm, Å), mass (kg, g, mg, mg, ng, pg, mol, mmol), Volume (l, ml, ml), time (s, min, h, d), temperature (°C, K), radiation (Bq, Ci, dpm, Gy, rad) and concentration (M, mM, mol/l, mmol/l, mg/ml, mg/ml, %, % (v/v), % (w/v), ppm, ppb.

Miscellaneous

Do not use ‘&’ to indicate ‘and’.

Proofs and Reprints

Proofs will be sent via e-mail as an Acrobat PDF file (e-mail attachment) and should be returned within four days of receipt. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage. Authors will have free electronic access to the full text (PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

Acceptance Certificate

IJCIAR Journal issue Acceptance Certificate to Author(s) for manuscripts that have been reviewed and accepted for publication by an Editor-in-Chief.

Publication Notification

After the article is made available on the journal’s website, a publication notice is sent to the corresponding author with links to the issue and article.

Copyright and Open Access Statement

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis) and that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All works published by International Journal of Current Innovations in Advanced Research (IJCIAR) are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This permits anyone to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited.

Article Processing Charges

Authors are required to pay Rs. 2, 500/- for Indian Authors and 100 USD for foreign authors towards as processing fee.

Fast-Track Review (this option can be chosen by the authors if they need very fast review process): Rs. 4000/- for Indian Authors and 150 USD for foreign Authors. With the payment of this fee (Rs. 4000/- & 150 USD), the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 5 days.

Different fee payment methods are available for authors to pay the publication fees. The details for the payment methods will be sent for authors directly, if their paper is accepted by this journal for publication. The available payment methods are:

  5. Paytm Transfer
  6. Through Google Pay

Waiver Policy

The IJCIAR Journal does not charge any article submission fee. Authors are requested to pay a fair manuscript handling fee for the processing of their articles when an article is accepted, processed, reviewed and authorized for publication.

IJCIAR is a self-supporting International Journal and does not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the operation of the Journal is solely financed by the handling fees received from authors. The handling fees are required to meet expenses such as peer review, internet services, indexing of articles, copy-editing, web-hosting, application development and support, electricity etc.

IJCIAR Journal may grant the partial waiver in article processing charges to those authors who are unable to pay the Article Processing Charges due to financial crisis. Only the authors from low income and middle income countries can apply for waiver. Waiver is applicable for one article per year for each submitting author.

Fee waiver requests must be directed to the Editor-In-Chief using the following E-mail: editor.ijciar@gmail.com.

Note: All The Transaction Charges or Service Charges will be Pay by Author. (Like Inter and Intra Banking Charges, Internet Banking Charges, Western Union Transfer Charges, Pay-Pal Charges, MoneyGram, NEFT Charges etc.).

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy and Charges

The corresponding author is allowed to withdraw the manuscript without paying any withdrawal penalty, if the author(s) requests a withdrawal of manuscript, within two days of submission.

If the author(s) requests a withdrawal of manuscript, after the peer review process or in the production stage (Early Release or Ahead of publishing) or published online; then authors need to make a withdrawal penalty.

IJCIAR Journal Editorial Office will provide the corresponding author a formal letter of Manuscript Withdrawal. Withdrawal of manuscripts is only allowed after withdrawal penalty (80% of the total fee) has been fully paid to the IJCIAR Editorial Office.

As per the policy, we declare that the withdrawal charges are applicable in case of withdrawal (80% of the total fee).

If the author withdraws the article after acceptance or after publication of the manuscript and payment has also been made, there will be NO REFUND of the Article Processing Charge (APC) already paid. If a Manuscript is withdrawn over indexing issues, NO REFUND will be made.

Withdrawal form

If the author wish to withdraw paper from a journal, author needs to submit an “Article withdrawal Form” signed by all authors (or) the corresponding author of the manuscript stating the reasons for manuscript withdrawal. The form is available from the Editorial Office of the journal.

Manuscript Submission Checklist

Before submitting the manuscript, author(s) should check the following list.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
  2. Use Times New Roman 12 font and 1.5 line Spaced throughout the manuscript
  3. Article with permissible limits of plagiarism content (< 10%)
  4. Manuscript should be in a single file along with tables, figures and graphs
  5. Name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of the corresponding author
  6. Tables and Figures are cited in numeric sequence in the text.
  7. Figures should be submitted in PDF, JPEG, EPS, or TIFF format.
  8. All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  9. Species names should be in italics
  10. Manuscript has been grammar checked and spell-checked
  11. Clinical trial registration number, if applicable.
  12. References should be in Journal Guidelines format.
